Our Commitment to Rhino Revolution

We are delighted to share the next steps in our collaboration with Rhino Revolution! Thanks to the generous donations from our management and employees, we have been able to sponsor a white rhinoceros: Raynet – a healthy, young female rhino (in the picture above on the left side).

Raynet, approximately 6–7 years old, has already given birth to her first offspring, a 1.5-year-old calf (in the picture above on the right side). Relocating Raynet and her calf to the Rhino Revolution Reserve was a heartfelt mission for us. She plays a vital role in the genetic exchange within the breeding program, which is crucial for preserving the rhino population. Additionally, there is an exciting possibility that Raynet may already be pregnant. Rhinos often mate 6–9 months after giving birth, so with a bit of luck, we might expect another calf in the next 12–15 months.

The decision to relocate Raynet and her calf from the KwaZulu-Natal region was made intentionally to enrich the project’s gene pool. The calf, a young female rhino, was financed by additional donors and will hopefully receive her own name soon.

We are proud to make a meaningful contribution to wildlife conservation through our efforts. Our donations not only benefit the rhinos but also support children’s education and strengthen local communities. Furthermore, these donations help create jobs and generate income, providing sustainable support for the region.
